DESIGN
WEEK

Design Week is a 5 day community participatory effort to select an architectural design partner to transform the 1012 N. Main building in Fort Worth into The Fred Rouse Center for Arts and Community Healing. The Selection Committee unanimously selected four finalists for the Design Architect selection who place a strong emphasis on architecture as a tool for positive social change, care work, and design justice.
The week will allow the architects to harmonize with the project through meaningful inquiry and discovery as they reimagine the process for enacting the interrelationship between the built environment, city planning, neighborhoods, and people. Transform 1012 will host the architects through 5 days of local culture and context sessions, area tours, access to informational tools and resources, and authentic opportunities to engage with the public.
Please join us for our opening and community celebrations and help us select our architectural design partner!
